Translation Notes!

Kuro uses a turn of phrase here, 豚も煽てりゃ木に登る which literally means 'even those of low ability can outdo themselves when flattered.' He`s essentially self deprecating.

There are tonal and emotional differences between aniki and oniichan. While both mean 'big brother,' the big difference here is that aniki is rougher and oniichan is, as Kuro says, ‘cuter.’
