(Player)ちゃんや創くんは、 基礎はばっちりですね

Tsumugi: (Player)-chan and Shino-kun`s fundamentals are spot on.

 

たしか, 縫製は紅郎くんに教わったんでしたっけ……。さすが紅郎くんは努力の鬼です、教えるのが上手ですよね

Tsumugi: You were taught by Kuro-kun weren`t you… Naturally, Kuro-kun has the tenacity of a demon; his instruction is superb.

 

ふふ. 俺はみかくんのサポートに注力しますけど、他のふたりも何かわかんないところがあったら聞いてくださいね

Tsumugi: Fufu, I`m working on helping Mika-kun, but feel free to ask me if either of you two need anything.

 

はあい. えへへ、みんなで集まって黙々とお裁縫するだけ〜っていうのも楽しいですね

Hajime: Oka~y. We were only sewing, but that`s fun in its own way isn`t it?

 

時間を忘れちゃいます~  絵面はすっごく地味ですけど

Hajime: I know it`s not really anything special, but… I feel like I could stay like this forever~

 

まぁライブじゃないですし、 地味でもぜんぜんOKですよね。ここのところ慌ただしかったから、 のんびりできるのが嬉しいです……♪

Hajime: Although, it`s not like we have a show going on right now, so I guess it`s okay to take it easy. I`ve been really busy lately, so I`m glad I can relax a little...♪

 

そやね〜。でも『のんびり』しすぎてもあかんよなぁ、納期に間にあわへん

Mika: Me too~ We can`t take it too easy though. We`ve got a deadline to keep.

 

まだ〆切までは日数がありますし、 ぜんぶ片付くまで何度も足を運べばいいですよ

Tsumugi: We still have a few days of leeway, so we can just keep meeting up to work on it if we need to.

 

(Player)ちゃんや創くんも、 気が向いたときだけでもお手伝いしてくれると助かります

Tsumugi: (Player)-chan, Hajime-kun, if you`re free and up to it, we`d appreciate some help.

 

俺たち手芸部は、 いつでも大歓迎ですから。もちろん、働いてくれたぶんのお賃金は手芸部の部費から支払いますからね

Tsumugi: You`re always welcome here in the Handicrafts club. Of course, we`ll compensate you for your work with the club funds.

 

ごめん,つむちやん先輩… 手芸部の部費、Valkyrieの活動資金に突っこんだからもう残ってへん

Mika: Sorry, Tsumu-chan-senpai, that`s… Well, we`ve been usin` the club funds for Valkyrie, so there isn`t enough left.

 

ええっ? もう〜、 そういうことは相談してくださいよ

Tsumugi: What? Goodness… That`s the sort of thing we should all discuss first.

 

部費は部活動のために用いるべき全員の共通財産ですよ、 お金のトラブルば怖いんですからね?

Tsumugi: Club funds are supposed to be there for all members to use for club-related activities. Financial trouble isn`t something you ever want to deal with, okay?

 

うう.  仕方なかったんや〜、そうでもせぇへんと闇金に駆けこむしかなかったんや〜

Mika: Yeah, but there wasn`t anythin` else we could do~ It`s better than takin` out any shady loans!

 

ちゃ、 ちゃんと使いこんだぶんの部費はおれが『校内アルバイト』 して返すから

Mika: I-I`ll repay it all with what I make from on-campus part-time jobs, I swear.

 

いいですよ. もう済んだことですし…手芸部はずっと, Valkyrieそのもの〜って感じになってましたからね

Tsumugi: No, it`s fine. There`s no use crying over spilt milk… To be fair, the Handicrafts club was more or less synonymous with Valkyrie itself.

 

俺も、ぜんぜん顔をださなかったし

Tsumugi: It`s not like I showed up to club meetings much, after all.

 

みんなが苦しい時期に何もしてあげられなかった、どころか傷つけて利用しただけの俺に……

Tsumugi:  I wasn`t able to help you when you needed it most. If anything, I used you and made everything worse...

 

今さら部活の先輩ぶって、偉そうにお説教する資格はないですよね

Tsumugi: I don`t have any right to lecture you, do I?

 

今こうして、みんなで平和に仲良くお裁縫ができてる。そんな現在に辿りつくための必要経費だったんですよ、きっと

Tsumugi: We`re all here sewing together peacefully now, and that`s all that matters. If the club funds are the price, then so be it.

 

うう。 今回の衣装づくりの仕事をちゃんと終えれば、お賃金が支払われるから……

Mika: Uuu, we should have enough to pay for the work after we finish the outfits...

 

(Player)ちやんたちへの報酬は、 そっからちやんと出すからなぁ?

Mika: I promise we`ll pay you guys soon as we get the money, okay?

 

あっ、 いいですよお金は…好きで手伝つてるだけですし、 あんまりお役に立ててませんしね

Hajime: Oh! You don`t have to pay me… I`m helping out because I wanted to, and I haven`t really done much anyways.

 

実際、ほとんどの衣装は斎宮先輩と鬼龍先輩が仕上げちゃってますし

Hajime: Itsuki-senpai and Kiryu-senpai are finishing up most of the outfits, after all.

 

いやいや. せめて消費した労カと時間に見合う対価を支払わないと、現代社会は廻りませんよ

Tsumugi: No, that won`t do. In modern society, time is money. We at least have to compensate you for the time and effort you spent on us.

 

どんなボランティアにも利害が絡んでるんですからね、創くん

Tsumugi: Even with volunteer work, there are always costs and benefits to be considered, Hajime-kun. 

 

ふふ。、 それはそうでしょうけど、皆さんのおかげで幸せな『まったり』した時間を週ごせてますから……

Hajime: Fufu, that may be true, but spending time with everyone has been really fun and relaxing...

 

ぼくは、 何だかそれだけでじゅうぶん満足できちやいます

Hajime: That`s more than enough for me.

 

そうですか… 良い子ですね、君は

Tsumugi: Really…? You`re very considerate, Hajime-kun.

 

たいてい、 『都合の良い子』 ですけどね。それが, ぼくの役目です

Hajime: Rather than “considerate,” I think I`m more just “convenient.” That`s my job, though.

 

茨の道ですよ。でもまぁ、 君が報われることをせめて祈ってます

Tsumugi: You`ve certainly got your work cut out for you, then. Still, I sincerely hope it pays off in the end.

 

お〜い… 気づいたらすっかり日ぃ暮れちまってたから、もう今日は仕舞いにして帰ろうぜ

Kuro: He~y... looks like it`s already gotten dark out, so let`s wrap things up and head home.

 

根を詰めても仕方ねぇしな、おうちのひとが心配するだろ

Kuro: Focusing on the same thing too long won`t do any good. Your families`ll be worried if you don`t get going.

 

うむ. さっさと出て行きたまえ、君たち。僕の城に、長々と居座りすぎなのだよ

Shu: Indeed. Now away with you lot. You`ve overstayed your welcome in my territory.

 

誰のためだと思ってやがる。斎宮も帰れよ、じいちゃんに雷落とされるぞ

Kuro: And just who do you think all of this was for? You should head home too before your gramps blows a fuse.

 

いつだったか、 補習が嫌で逃げだした俺に付きあってさ....

Kuro: It feels like it`s been ages since you`d tag along with me when I ran away from my lessons as a kid…

 

おまえも一緒に電車に乗って遊び回ってさ、なぜか最終的に余所の県で保護されたことがあっただろ

Kuro: You and I would hop on the train and go from place to place. One time, we ended up in some other prefecture before we realized it.

 

あのときの、おまえのじいちゃんと俺の母ちゃんの怒りっぷりを今でも夢に見るんだよ

Kuro: Your gramps and my mom were so mad when that happened. I still have nightmares about it.

 

仕方ないよ, 僕たちが悪い。優しいあのひとが激怒するほど、僕たちは罪深いことをしたのだからね

Shu: That`s to be expected, it was our fault after all. Our actions were horrible enough to make even such a kind person lose their temper. 

 

保護者の心を悩ます悪い子は、三途の川で延々と石積みをさせられるよ

Shu: Children who trouble their parents have to build stone towers in Hell to repent for their sins, you know?*

 

……そういやさ。じいちゃん、 まだご存命だったっけか?

Kuro: ...Oh yeah, is your gramps still alive and kicking?

 

うむ. あれはニ百年は生きるね、まだまだご健勝だよ。腹立たしい

Shu: Indeed he is, and will probably be in good health for another two hundred years. It`s annoying.  

 

そっか。長生きしてほしいな

Kuro: That so. I hope he lives a long life. 

 

ふん…君たちは先に出ていたまえ、.僕は散らかった布などを片付ける

Shu: Hn...you lot go on ahead already. I must tidy up all the stray cloth laying about.

 

立つ鳥跡を濁さずというだろう、雑然としたままだと落ち着かないのだよ

Shu: I can`t leave the room looking like a mess in good conscience.

 

 

鬼龍、掃除している間はマドモアゼルを預ける。汚したくないからね……傷のひとつでもつけたら、一生怨むのだよ

Shu: I will entrust you with Mademoiselle while I clean, Kiryu. Take care not to tarnish her...if there is so much as a single scratch, I will curse you for the rest of your life.

 

え〜… 影片にでも抱つこさせろよ、 俺こいつ苦手なんだよ

Kuro: Eh~ Make Kagehira hold her. I`m not real fond of this thing...

 

いいだろう、 たまには。うむ、 僕にとっては 『しっくり』 くる光景なのだよ

Shu: It`s fine every now and then, isn`t it? Yes, you two look “right” together.

 

そうかよ ……大事にしてんなあ、 相変わらず。綺麗なもんだ

Kuro: That so...you`ve taken good care of her, as always. She`s an exquisite thing.

 

ふふ. 綺麗だなんて~ どこでそんな言葉を覚えてきたの? おませさん♪

Shu: Fufu, and where did you learn a word like “exquisite”? You precocious child~

 

その腹話術, やめろってば。ふつうに、 てめぇが女言葉で喋ってるだけに見えて気味が悪ぃんだよ

Kuro: I said quit it with the ventriloquism already. It`s gross hearing you try and talk all feminine.

 

俺の母ちやんぶるくせに, ぜんぜん似てねぇからムカつくし

Kuro: Even though you`re trying to sound like my Mom, it doesn`t resemble her at all. It pisses me off.

 

いいだろう、所詮はお飯事さ。昔たまにやったよね、そういう馬鹿げたお遊びを

Shu: Its fine. After all, it`s merely playing house. We would do that sort of thing back then, foolishly playing about.

 

すまなかったね。野山を駆け回るほうが好きな男の子には、 退屈だつただろう……りゆ〜くん

Shu: I apologize. For a boy that preferred to run around in the dirt, that must have been boring, wasn`t it...Ryu-kun.

 

Kuro: あぁ? 嫌ならちゃんと嫌って言ったよ、俺はそういう気遣いができねぇ単純馬鹿のクソガキだったんだよ

Huh? If I hated it, I woulda told you flat out. I was a simple-minded brat back then, so I wouldn`t have kept any rude thought to myself. 

 

……知ってんだろ、いっちやん

Kuro: ...You already know that though, don`t you, Icchan?

Translation notes!
In Japanese mythology, a child dying before their parents was treated as a grave sin. To repent, children would be forced to build stone towers along the Sanzu River. The towers would inevitably get knocked down, representing wasted effort. Essentially, Shu`s saying your parents work really hard for you as is, so don`t make their lives harder.
