Hajime: 美味しいです〜、涙がでてきちゃいました. このクロワッサン、外はさくさく中はもちもちですね

It`s so tasty, there`s tears in my eyes~ The outside of the croissant is nice and flaky, but the inside is so soft and springy, isn’t it?

Hajime: クロワッサンって、もっと中身すかすかだと思ってました

I thought the inside of a croissant would be hollower than this.

Shu: 『ふふ. 栄養とか考えて、中身にいろいろ詰めてるの』

Fufu. Shu takes nutrition into consideration, filling the croissants with various things.

Shu: 『食感にもこだわって生地にいろいろ練りこんだりもしてるしね、そうでしょう宗くん~』

He`s also particular about the texture, kneading a bit of this and that into the dough. Isn't that right, Shu-kun~?

Shu: ふん. クロワッサンは見た目は美しいけれど、主食にするには栄養価が偏りすぎだからね

Hn. Although croissants are beautiful in appearance, their nutritional value is too unbalanced to be a staple food.

Shu: ただ、そのために味や食感を蔑ろにするのも僕の美学に反するし

Nevertheless, for that reason, ignoring the flavour and texture goes against my aesthetic.

Shu: このように, かたちや風味を損なわずに焼き上げるには苦労したよ。パンを焼くのも、どこか陶芸に似ていて奥が深いね

I took great pains to bake them without spoiling the shape and flavor. Baking bread is quite similar to ceramics in the sense that they are quite profound.

Mika: お師さん凝り性やもんな〜、普通にお店で買うてくれば良ぇやん。このひと、そのために自宅にパン焼き窯までこしらえたんやで

That`s just Oshi-san`s meticulousness~ Normally it`d be fine to just buy it at a store. But this guy, he made an oven just for baking bread right at home!

Shu: 何か文句でもあるのかね、影片。結局のところ、己の好みに最も合致するものは自作するしかないのだよ。食べ物も衣服も、何もかもね

Do you have something to complain about, Kagehira? At the end of the day, what suits my taste best are only that of what I have made myself. Be it food, clothing, or anything else.

Shu:本来なら焼きたてを振る舞いたかったのだけど、急な来客だったし… 温め直したものしか提供できなくて、そこは申し訳ないね

Under ordinary circumstances, I would have liked to treat you to something freshly baked, but as you were such a sudden visitor… I apologize, but all I have to offer you has already cooled down.

Hajime: いえいえ~いきなり押しかけたのに、むしろ歓待されたので恐縮しちゃいます。斎宮先輩って、もっと怖いひとだと思ってました

No, no~ Even though we intruded on you without warning, you gave us a warm welcome instead. I feel so grateful; I had thought that you were a much scarier person, Itsuki-senpai.

Hajime: ふふ. このクロワッサンお紅茶にも合いますね〜

Fufu. This croissant goes well with black tea as well~

Hajime: 良いお茶っ葉ばっかりで目移りしちゃいました、お茶をいれるときに緊張して手が震えましたもん

I have trouble just picking out good tea leaves, so I tend to get nervous while making tea and my hands start to shake.

Tsumugi: ティーカップも高級品ですよね〜、俺は紙コップでもぜんぜん大丈夫なんですけど. 宗くんは、ほんと相変わらずですね

The teacup is very high-class as well, isn’t it~ Though I would have been completely fine with a simple paper cup. You`re truly the same as ever, aren’t you, Shu-kun?

Tsumugi: むしろ、俺が仲良かった時期より凝り性が酷くなってる気がします。あんまり、自分の世界のなかだけに埋没しちゃ駄目ですよ

Or rather, I feel as though your meticulousness has become far more severe now than it was back when we were friends. You mustn't bury yourself in nothing but your own world.

Shu: ふん。俗物どもがもうすこし真っ当なセンスをもっているなら、僕も喜んでそのへんの店で既製品を購入するのだよ

Hmph. If those vulgar people would have just a little more respect then I’d be happy to purchase their goods from their stores.

Shu: 『……あら? 紅郎くんはもう食べ終えちゃったのね~、早食いは健康に良くないわよ~』

… Oh? Kiryu-kun has already finished eating~ Eating too fast isn’t good for your health, you know~

Kuro: 一口だよ、こんなもん。俺ぁ、もうちょいガッツリ食いてぇな

Things like this are eaten in one bite. I`d want to eat something a bit more filling.

Shu: 『育ち盛りだものね。良いわ、もうちょっと男の子が好きそうな料理をつくってきてあげる。今回だけの特別よ、紅郎くん~』

You’re a growing boy after all. Alright, we’ll make a meal a little more appropriate for a boy. It’s a one-time only special, Kiryuu-kun~

Shu: 『何が食ぺたい? 肉じゃが? ハンバーグ? ビーフストロガノフ?』

What do you want to eat? Meat and potatoes? Hamburg? Beef stroganoff?

Kuro: いや腹話術じゃなくて、普通に喋れよ。な〜んか、苛々するんだよな……

Hey, cut out the ventriloquism and talk normally. It`s k~inda gettin` on my nerves, ya know...

Kuro: つうか料理してる場合かよ、衣装づくりが納品に間にあわなさそうでピンチなんだろ

Anyway, is this the time to be cooking? We won`t have any time to finish the outfits in time for delivery and we`ll be in a real pinch.

Kuro: まったりしてねぇで、ちゃっちゃと作業をやっつけちまおうぜ。マジでさ、困ったときは誰かに頼れよ……意地っぱりが

Shu: ならば見なければいい、などと皮肉を返すのも失礼だね. …有り難う、鬼龍

Shu: 衣装づくりの依頼書やデザイン画などは、ひとつひとつフアイルにまとめてあるよ。完璧にね

I`ve compiled the requests for clothing and images of the designs into their own individual files. Perfectly, of course.

Shu: 資料なども影片に集めさせて、コピーをしてー緒に綴じてある

I had Kagehira gather the documents, and we’ve photocopied and bound them together.

Shu: これを見れば、最低限の技術があるなら猿にでも縫製できるのだよ

So long as you look at these, even a monkey with a mere shred of skill would be able to sew them.

Mika: んあ〜。資料集めるん大変やったわぁ、つむちゃん先輩にも手伝うてもろたんよ~

Anyway, skip over gathering the materials and get to work. That's why you won't be on time for the delivery date. Itsuki could generally do whatever it is on instinct, probably, but...

Shu: う〜む、ひとから依頼されるのには慣れなくてね

H~m, I'm not used to receiving requests from others.

Shu: 自分でいちからデザインしたものなら直感で何とかなるけれど、どんな衣装を求められているのか掴みかねたのだよ

If it were something that I had designed myself from the start, I would be able to manage it one way or another on instinct, but it's difficult to grasp what sort of outfit they are asking for.

Shu: それに. 僕だけでは手が回らないし、影片にも縫製をさせたかったから……。最大限、お膳立てはととのえておくべきだと判断した

Moreover, I can't manage it just by myself. I wished to allow Kagehira to do the sewing as well, so.... At most, I concluded that I would need to put together the preparations.

Kuro:それで自分のほうが疎かになってんじゃねぇか、そういうところは不器用だよな

And because of that, you neglected yourself. You're clumsy in that sort of aspect.

Kuro: まぁいいや……。えぇっと、衣装が完成してねぇのはどれだ

Oh well, anyway... Umm, which of these isn't done yet?

Kuro: げっ、まだ三分の一も終わってねぇじゃん .てめぇ、ひとつひとつの衣装にこだわりすぎなんだよ

Geh, it's not even one third of the way done! You, you`re fussing too much over every single outfit.

Kuro: 完成度を追求してたら『きり』がねぇぞ、同時並行でやれよ

There'll be no "end" to it if you keep chasing after that kind of perfection. Let's do them at the same time.

Kuro: ん〜… 難易度ごとに分けて、大変そうなのは俺と斎宮でやるか

Hm~ we can split it by difficulty level and have Itsuki and myself do the parts that seem hard.

Kuro: 簡単なやつとか、とにかく量が必要なやつは青葉を中心にして他のみんなでやってくれ

For the simpler parts, or the ones needed in bulk, we'll have the others take care of it with Aoba taking the lead.

If it gets to a point where I could have you guys in the handicrafts club make outfits, then I'll have less of a burden, too.

Shu: さすがの僕も忙しすぎて注意カ散漫になっていたらしいッ、あぁ愛らしい指先に血がにじんでいる……! こんな悲劇があるだろうかッ!?
